Dear Parents,
The Madison Russian School will be offering Dance classes starting with the next quarter! This quarter, classes will begin on March 19th and will continue through June 4th (the dance lessons are on Sundays). There will be no classes on April 16th and April 23rd due to the Catholic and Russian Orthodox Easter holidays. Dance lessons will be held in the upstairs dance studio at in the Madtown Twister building located at 7035 Old Sauk Rd, Madison. The instructor is planning on separating interested children into two age groups: 5-8 years old and 8+ years old. The younger group will meet from 10 — 11 AM, and the older group will meet from 11:15 AM — 12:45 PM. All children should wear ballet shoes (sold in many of the local stores, for example, Wal-Mart) and comfortable clothing. The Russian-speaking instructor is planning to teach the children choreography, folk dances, and prepare theatrical dance skits. We are planning on having regular performances by the children. The instructor completed the Latvian Pedagogical University, specializing as a Teacher of Dance. She has completed “baletnuyu hudozhestvennuyu studiyu” and Folk-Dance courses. For 11 years, she danced in the “Vdohnovenie” ensemble. She has experience working with pre-school and school-age children. We are very pleased to have her on our staff! Tuition costs for the 10 lessons in this quarter will be: $80 for the younger children’s class $120 for the older children’s class Children who are new to our school will need to pay the $10 Annual Fee to the School Fund as well. Please respond to this e-mail if you are interested in having your child(ren) participate in this class, or if you have any questions! We look forward to seeing you there! Thank you, Inna Reinfeldt, Gennady Bekasov, Daria Vassina, Irina Tvedt, Yelena Kurolapnik, Vlada Henderson, Irina Shklyar, Luba Krichevskaya, Valentina Pogosyan =========================== Madison Russian School, Inc. |
