And looking ahead to New Year's... I'm really excited to be playing
with easily my favorite band in town. The Tony Castaneda Latin Jazz
Band. They never fail to make me dance (really!) and amazingly enough
we have never performed together before.
Actually their bass player, Henry, and I last played together in High
School Orchestra. I don't think Henry will be running any distortion
pedals to his bass like we did in that infamous final concert.
So it'll be happening at the Orpheum (in the Lobby). Music starts
@9pm. And they'll be on until about 12:30 or so. I'll be playing from
12:30 until we decide to close. Plus it's only $10 which includes free
champagne and hors oeuvres. The perfect way to ring in the New Year.
