Dear Community,

The Madison Russian School would like to hold a meeting/concert with any participants and survivors of World War II. Meaning, if you were in the military, a blockade, evacuated, have any childhood memories of these events, etc., we'd like to have you participate!

We're planning it for the weekend prior to May 9th.

We'd like to make the following request to everyone: if you know of anyone who is able and willing to participate in this event, please let us know! If it's alright to share their contact information with us, please do, or, we can communicate with them through you. Whichever way is preferred.

The goal of the meeting is to have everyone listen to the survivors tell us about their experiences. Also, if the older family members are unable to attend, but you or your child would like to share their experiences with the audience, please do not hesitate to contact us!

These memories and life experiences are very valuable and should be passed from generation to generation! This knowledge can help ensure that we are more well-rounded, better human beings.

We're also planning a short concert program for the honored guests.

Давайте отпразднуем День Победы!

Дорогие друзья!

6 мая 2007 г. Русская школа г. Мэдисона приглашает Вас отметить День Победы в Великой Отечественной войне. Мероприятие состоится по адресу: Eagle Heights Community Center (611 Eagle Heights, Madison) и начнется в 2 ч. дня.

В программе:

• Рассказы и воспоминания наших уважаемых гостей — очевидцев военного времени. Рассказы будут расчитаны на детей младшего и среднего школьного возраста, взрослым они также безусловно будут интересны.
• Песни, стихи, музыка, танцы, постановки учеников нашей школы, а также гостей-артистов.
