The Taste of Madison is the flagship event of Madison Festivals, Inc. Held each year over Labor Day weekend on Madison’s famed Capitol Square, the event showcases more than 65 local restaurants, 16 beverage stands and 6 entertainment stages. There is no charge for admission or for entertainment. Restaurant vendors will be selling various items from their establishments priced between $1 and $4.

Server's challenge

To be held on Sunday, September 2nd, 2007, 3:00 pm, West Washington Ave.

The Challenge:
The race will be a relay where the first teammate will have to stop at several stations. Server 1 will roll silverware, sweep up after some messy customers and wrap up some leftovers to go! (We’ll give points for creativity here, so give us your best tin-foil creation!)
Server 1 will run over and tag their partner who will start the second leg of the competition.
Server 2 will begin by opening a bottle of wine and pouring two glasses. Then they’ll grab their tray and traverse the horrible hoola-hoops, run up and over the stairs and through the swinging doors without spilling a drop!
